Tandem pilot and passionate paragliding instructor

Miki has been paragliding since 2016 and flying tandem since 2022. As a certified SHV paragliding instructor, he also trains aspiring pilots. Whether he is in the air, at the take-off site or teaching in the classroom, paragliding is at the heart of Miki’s life.

Special moments from the Engelberg Valley to the Jura

Miki spends much of his time flying in the Engelberg Valley. When conditions are right, he also takes experienced passengers on memorable cross-country flights over the Jura.

One tandem flight stands out in particular: Miki and his passenger shared a thermal with a stork, circling side by side. It was a rare encounter – and exactly the kind of experience that keeps him coming back to the sky.

When a tandem flight leaves you wanting more

For Miki, the clearest sign of a great tandem flight comes after landing: a big smile on his passenger’s face – and sometimes the question of where they can sign up to learn to fly themselves.
