Exploring Central Switzerland: Rigi, Fronalpstock, and Urmiberg

As a local lady pilot, Maria’s absolute favorite playgrounds are right here in Central Switzerland. Mount Rigi, where she grew up, and the iconic Fronalpstock are at the very top of her list. When she wants to push her limits, the Urmiberg is her go-to hike-and-fly peak. For Maria, earning your flight with a hike is one of the most rewarding ways to experience the mountains.

She loves flying with friends, gliding toward the sunset, or taking her sister up for a tandem flight. When reflecting on her most memorable moments, one adventure instantly comes to mind: soaring wing-to-wing with wild vultures in the Pyrenees.
