For Marcel, Mount Pilatus isn’t just a mountain—for over two decades, it has been his backyard, his office, and his greatest passion. Living with his family right by the cable car station in Kriens, his home is exactly where the paragliding adventure begins for most of his guests.

Frequent Flyer & Pioneer

With well over 8,000 tandem flights in his logbook, Marcel eventually stopped counting. For him, it’s not about quantity, but about quality and safety. He has spent 20 years perfecting his takeoff technique and knows better than anyone else exactly when a weather window opens on Mount Pilatus—and which launch site is the right choice at that moment. Marcel even developed his own specific landing technique for the demanding landing zone in Kriens, setting a benchmark followed by many pilots throughout the region.

Cross-Country Flying & Adventure

Marcel loves covering long distances with his glider. He holds cross-country records from Mount Pilatus for both solo and tandem flights. He also turned heads in the paragliding community with his epic Hike & Fly project, traveling all the way from the Portuguese Atlantic coast to the Black Sea.
